ECLIPSE
ENERGY CASE STUDY - East Irish Sea Project
Eclipse
Energy is a new British independent energy company for the 21st Century.
They are planning to
design, build and operate the World's first integrated offshore gas
and wind power generation facility. This unique offshore co-development
scheme will generate power from both 'fallow' gas reserves and offshore
wind. As the gas reserves become depleted, more turbines could be added
to the windfarm. Such a scheme will leave a 'green legacy' and ultimately
generate enough renewable energy to supply in excess of 71,000 homes
.
Client

plan.
